Optiva Ethernet Network Management Connectivity

The Optiva OTP-1GETR 10/100/1000 and OTP-1ETR 10/100 Fiber Ethernet Links, working together with the Optiva EMCOREView Management & Control Suite, enables network connectivity to remotely and locally monitor and control all the Optiva cards with the Optiva EMCOREView Graphical User Interface. It provides fiber transport connectivity for SNMP network management traffic on Optiva platforms between remote satellites and control rooms. The OTP-1GETR provides connectivity with one channel of 10/100/1000 Ethernet over fiber and the OTP-1ETR provides one channel of duplex 10/100 Ethernet over fiber. The OTP-1GETR features a 4-port unmanaged Ethernet switch for multiple device connectivity, supports short or long distances with single or dual fiber cable.

The Ethernet compliant OTP-1GETR and OTP-1ETR can also support data-centric applications such as fiber Ethernet transport for the LAN/WAN data network and data feeds in satellite control rooms.
